On bright days, I wish we could lift the roof off the library and let the sun shine onto everything within. Wouldn't that deactivate a lot of germs? Instead, we disinfect the keyboards and mouses and recommend patrons wash their hands or use bottled hand sanitizer. We also keep nose tissues handy for those in need. During these harder economic times, the library is being used more than ever. Will the H1N1 virus change the way people use the library? For job seekers, I don't think so. Neither for the teens and pre-teens who regularly use our computers.
