ANCIENT VIKING RELICS UNCOVERED by kids in pottery class at Grove City Community Building. Heading the expedition was Mr. Gerry Kulzer. Assisting was Ms. Jenna Tanttila.

fired by kiln and finished with tempora painting!
Note the cannon and cannon balls carried in the ship below.
Nine kids participated in this free program offered by the library. They were inspired by looking at pictures of ancient Viking artifacts in books! Mr. Kulzer and Ms. Tanttila are area art teachers.
