The Secret Storm script was one of four commissioned for the Minnesota Historical Society's Greatest Generation Project. For inspiration, the playwright Sheri Wilner used oral history, primary resources, and dialogue from a 1953 TV soap opera The Guiding Light to write her play. The MHS provided the script to the Pioneerland Regional Library and the Grove City PL produced the play.
This project was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
